Housing and Residential Communities is no longer accepting housing reservations for Summer 2025 programs.

Camps and Conferences

Our summer housing dates are May 19, 2025 through July 15, 2025. Should your program dates be outside of our summer housing dates, you may still complete a Housing Request Form and we will reach out to you via email to discuss further.

Overnight accommodations require a minimum two-night stay.

Youth Programs (All)

All youth programs must be registered with the Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Regulatory Affairs (CERA). To initiate a request for a youth program, please register your program with the Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Regulatory Affairs. Registration is available now.

For more information regarding the Youth Protection Program, please contact CERA at 205-348-2334 or youthprotection@ua.edu.

Once your program is registered with CERA, please complete the Housing Request Form and our staff will contact you about your overnight stay request.

Non-Youth Programs (External)

An external program, or third-party program, is one that is not owned or operated by The University of Alabama, but is held on the UA campus. Except for the use of the facilities, an external program is not otherwise affiliated with The University of Alabama. These programs must have a University department or college sponsor.

To initiate a contract, the UA Sponsor must submit a Contract Request Form. Do not have a UA sponsor? Contact Bryant Conference Center Conference Services at 205-348-2325 for options.

Access Chip Cards

Building access cards are available to program staff/adults only. Youth attendees should always be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Services

  • Linens (sheets/blanket/pillow/towels) – up to $45 (full set)/available in partial sets while supplies last
  • Parking permits – minimum $1 per permit; subject to change by Parking Services
  • Event space (limited availability) – quotes available
  • Wireless internet provided through guest WiFi for staff in supervisory roles – no additional cost
  • Disposable trash receptacles (long-stay programs only: staying seven nights or more) – $2.50 each (available while supplies last)
  • Laundry Cards – $12 per card, plus the cost of funds added for use of machines (long-stay programs only: staying seven nights or more)
  • Special requests for check-in or check-out times outside of reservation period – quotes available

Facilities

Camps and conferences are housed in nearly every residence hall. Ridgecrest East, Ridgecrest South, John England Jr., and Bryant are not available for summer camps and conferences. Additionally, Julia Tutwiler Hall and Paty Hall are scheduled to be offline/unavailable for the 2025 summer season. Available residence halls are subject to change at any time due to ongoing construction or maintenance updates.

We do not provide shower curtains, trash receptacles (short-stay camps), alarm clocks, cookware, televisions or toiletries.

    Each private bedroom includes a twin bed (Bryce Lawn: twin bed; Highlands: twin XL bed), dresser, desk, desk chair, closet/wardrobe. The apartment has a kitchen with electric stove/oven, fridge and dishwasher for three guests to share.
