Housing is available for UA students during the summer. Students who want to live on campus during the summer must be admitted and enrolled in classes for the summer or the upcoming fall semester.
Housing Locations
Summer housing locations vary each year. For Summer 2026, summer residents will be housed in Ridgecrest East and John England.
Application
The Summer 2026 application is available now.
To apply for housing for Summer 2026, click on the “Apply for Summer Housing” button below, log in using your Crimson email address and myBama password, and select “Apply.” Your housing application is not complete until you have submitted:
- the application form through the housing portal
- a signed housing contract (students under the age of 18 will also have to have a parent/guardian co-sign the housing contract)
- the $100 housing prepayment and application fee ($65 refundable prepayment for summer housing charge and $35 non-refundable application fee)
Students moving to campus for summer who plan to live on campus for the following fall and spring semesters must apply for summer and the following academic year separately.
There is no deadline to apply for summer housing. In order to apply, you will need your myBama username and password.
If you already applied for summer housing, and will not live on campus, submit a Contract Release Request. Students who cancel their summer application prior to May 1 receive a $65 refund on their prepayment.
